The World Snowboard Points List (WSPL) lists the best athletes for the freestyle disciplines Slopestyle, Big Air and Halfpipe.
The rank is calculated based on the average ranking points of the best three results an athletet scored within the last 52 weeks from the ranking calculation date.
Injured or recovered athletes are scored on "frozen points" based on scores within 52 weeks back from the injury date. If the injury is over a year ago, 10% of the frozen points are deducted. If the injury is over two years ago 50% of the frozen points are deducted. And finally after 3 years the athlete is automatically set as active/healthy again. A athlete is set as active automaticall if he/she improves upon the frozen points with a new score or he/she competes 6 or more times since the injury.
